Mark Vilela Registered Massage Therapist (RMT)
Mark Vilela has been a professional personal trainer since 2017 and a Certified Fascial Stretch Therapist since 2019. He takes an individualized, movement-based approach to care—tailoring each treatment to a client’s goals, lifestyle, and sport rather than applying a one-size-fits-all protocol.
Mark focuses on how people move in real-world settings, identifying mobility restrictions, compensations, and inefficient patterns that contribute to pain, stiffness, or reduced performance. His goal is not only short-term relief, but long-term improvement in movement quality, resilience, and recovery.
Throughout his career, Mark has worked with a wide range of individuals and athletes in both private clinical settings and large-scale events. He has served as the fascial stretch therapist for the CCYAA Celebrity Classic Basketball Game at Markham’s Night It Up! festival, the preferred stretch therapist for Team Inferno at the North America Police Soccer Tournament (NAPST) hosted by Peel Regional Police, and Team Shade at the Provincial Dodgeball Championships. He has also provided movement assessments and education at corporate wellness events, including McKesson Canada’s Annual Wellness Fair.
Internationally, Mark has hosted pop-up sessions in Seoul, South Korea, working with TrainTrue Powerlifting members and Physical: 100 Season 1 contestant Euddeume Shim. More recently, he has supported players from the Canadian Elite Basketball League (CEBL), served as a Sports RMT and stretch therapist at the 2024 and 2025 Toronto Korean Festivals, and is the official stretch therapist for Rise Bogey League/The Loop.
In addition to his clinical work, Mark is an active HYROX athlete and HYROX performance coach. This firsthand experience allows him to bridge therapy, recovery, and performance—making his approach especially effective for active individuals, hybrid athletes, and those training at a high intensity.
