Note: Our lead therapist, Mark, is an FST Level 3 + Sport Specific specialist!
Sports Massage Therapy | Recover Faster, Relieve Muscle Soreness, and Maximize Performance
We start by looking at the global picture of how your body is ordered, how your body moves, and how one issue can lead to problems elsewhere. This helps us to systematically identify the root cause of any pain, dysfunction, or areas holding you back from your movement potential. From this point, we will use a combination of deep tissue massage, manual therapy, fascial stretching, education, and progressive exercises to create lasting change.
Please note: Our sports RMT sessions at MVPR Therapy won’t feel like your ‘typical spa massage’! Our goal is to help you move better, so please come prepared with shorts and a sports bra/tank top as you can expect to be up and moving periodically throughout your session. If you're looking for a traditional, basic massage please book under 'Relaxation Massage.'
